" WOW " once again thank you Ned for your wonderful coverage of the event up at Fort Clark and what superb photographs as always.
You can see you were all having a great time and the weather looked really great and it is nice to see you, John and Rich all looking so well and doing your Alamo film thing and the crowd looked like they had a good time as well.
I have to ask this but did you get to go up to Alamo Village and eat at the Burger & Shake I believe you call it ????
So once again many thanks for sharing the day with us
Pretty neat. I guess I'll have to go to Texas to have my copy autographed. That guy's never home. Observation: Like the old westerns on tv, the characters seem to wear the same clothes in every episode. If you look at the post of John....he must have a closet full of those shirts or a lot of deodorant for one. Just an observation

Gill & Mo
We did indeed, Gill & Mo! After the presentation at the Presidio Building in Fort Clark, John Farkis, Rich Curilla, Dean Reading, John Henry Daniels and I paid a visit to the Village. But that's for another thread.
I would have loved to have taken out a group, but the ranch road to the village is in such bad shape these days that it is just too risky to get a string of cars following me in. Somebody is bound to not follow my rather over-the-top instructions and drop a wheel into a hole disabling their car. Hopefully, something will be done soon to solve (at least) the road issue.
