Mexican militia tunic

Postby bill chemerka on Wed Aug 17, 2016 8:46 pm

Does anyone know if the the five-button, V-cut hem, khaki Mexican militia tunics (the West Wall attackers with the ladders) featured buttons with insignia on them? Or were they all plain?

Please advise.

All the best.

Someone here must have an answer to this. Mustang, didn't you have some of the khaki/white fatigue uniforms?

I did and have already told Bill that my uniform had standard buttons with no embellishment or engravings.

Mustang replied quickly to my initial inquiry.

A magnified close-up of the "dead Jocko on the wall as Mrs. Dickinson departs" photo also confirms Mustang's comment about the plain buttons on the tunics.

All the best!
